Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for the Gertrude Press web site.

We collect three kinds of data from visitors to this web site. First, through the use of cookies, we collect data about our site visitors such as IP addresses, domain names, the URL from which a visitor linked or jumped to our site, and a user's browser and platform. We use this data in the aggregate to improve and enhance our web site. You can set your browser not to accept cookies or to notify you when you are sent a cookie, giving you the opportunity to decide whether or not to accept it.

Second, we may determine a user's connection speed and available plug-ins to provide the user with the best possible Internet experience by providing data in the most suitable format. For example, if we determine that a user does not have the Flash player, our web site will redirect the user to the Adobe Web site to download Flash. We track the aggregate information about users' Internet capabilities and equipment for statistical purposes; for example, we might track what percentage of our visitors have the Flash player. We do not connect that to any personal information about a user.

Third, the Gertrude Press web site offers the opportunity to contact us via e-mail and subscribe to an e-newsletter. We do not share this information with any third party. We always provide the ability to unsubscribe from the e-newsletter and will respond promptly.

Thank you for visiting the Gertrude Press web site.
