Gertrude Press welcomes three new Board of Directors members in 2008. Joining the Gertrude Press Board of Directors in January were Jodi Ballard, Tammy Stoner, and Nancy Linnon. (Full Board biographies can be found online.)
Jodi Ballard brings strong organizational skills as well as non-profit development experience to the table and will be spearheading our non-profit 501(c)3 application. She has also been elected to the position of Board Secretary.
Tammy Stoner is a recent graduate of Antioch University Los Angeles and presents a plethora of publishing experience with such powerhouses as The Advocate, OUT, and Alyson Books. She will also assist in evaluating fiction submissions.
Nancy Linnon, a 2004 graduate of Antioch University Los Angeles, joins the board to fill the new position of Non Fiction Editor. She will be responsible for increasing submissions in that genre, evaluating submissions, and serving on the Writer & Artist Relations Committee.
