Representatives from Gertrude Press hope to attend this spring's Association of Writing Professionals (AWP) conference in Atlanta. The conference provides an excellent opportunity for the press to showcase its writers and artists, establish professional connections, and examine current publishing industry developments.

The 2007 Chapbook Poetry & Fiction Chapbook Contest deadline, January 15, 2007, is rapidly approaching. All entries should be postmarked by this date.

This year’s contest will feature a winner in each category, fiction and poetry. Winners will receive a $50 cash prize and fifty copies of his/her respective chapbook.
