Our Guest Fiction Editor position has been filled. So, we now have one open, volunteer positions for 2021!
Events Coordinator
We are looking for an Events Overlord! Historically, we’ve hosted in-person events, with our most recent featuring Pulitzer-prize winning poet Jericho Brown. Now we want to expand to doing exciting, engaging on-line events.
Events would include readings with some of the biggest names in the queer lit world alongside emerging writers, in addition to on-line classes taught by our editors and the possible evolution of our quarterly queer book club, GERTIE, from print to the virtual space.
Requirements
Your commitment
With 3 virtual events planned this year, your time commitment should average 2 hours a week. This is a volunteer, unpaid position at a highly recognized journal where you will be on the Board of Directors and connecting some of the world’s most amazing queer writers with the readers who love them. We're pretty fun to work with, too.
Please send your CV to editorGertrudePress@gmail.com – we look forward to hearing from you!
